La 5e route bleue is the meeting of minds between four musicians and improvisors, coming from such backgrounds as arabic music, improvised music and jazz. Between free improvisations and arabic/western compositions, written by Katia Makdissi-Warren, the musicians express their own vision of the meeting of music from the Middle East with music from the West. The results are breathtakingly beautiful.
