Expertly blending contemporary jazz, contemporary music and improvisations, the stand-up bass player, Normand Guilbeault, has rummaged through traditional canadian, métis, aboriginal and military songs to tell the tragic story of Louis Riel. Eleven musicians, two narrators and a projectionist make this project a truly exceptional event that the festival is proud to present.
