After several international tours in trio and quartet formats, François Bourassa has become an ambassador of Montreal’s flourishing jazz community, as well as of its artistic landscape. Recipient of the Oscar Peterson Award at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2007, he released his 9th album, Number 9, in October of 2017. His latest work dives even deeper into the quartet dynamic through seven of his own compositions. We are proud to welcome him to the stage in this special series leading up to the holidays.
