Gentiane Mg – Walls Made of Glass
The pianist and composer Gentiane MG sees music as a powerful means of expression. Her compositions unfold in a contrasting personal universe that transports the listener halfway between dreams and reality.
On a more personal level, her recent repertoire is the result of a long search for meaning. “Walls Made of Glass” is composed of pieces for piano trio inspired by a recent change in her perception of the outside world.
Gentiane’s compositions reflect her training as a classical and jazz pianist, bringing the impressionist aesthetic to the improvisational approach and rhythmic flair of contemporary jazz.
